How to Enable or Disable USB Ports in Windows 10/8/7 [Tutorial]

How often have you witnessed blocked access to your USB drive or other USB drives at work, college, or school? I'm sure you have; in fact, every time you try to use a USB drive, you're not allowed to, simply because the administrator has disabled USB drive detection on your Windows 10/8/7 system. Again, how often has your data been stolen because someone plugged an unauthorized USB drive into your computer and copied your files? Well, you don't need to worry because the solution to disabling or enabling USB ports is quite simple.

You may have noticed that when you plug a USB drive into a computer at school or work, the computer doesn't respond? That's because the administrator has disabled the USB ports, and therefore, the USB drive isn't recognized.

This tutorial will apply to computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, and Windows 7. It works for all major computer manufacturers (Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, and Samsung).
