A fun singing exercise, 12345 vocal warm up, is a popular choir warm up exercise. If you 're working on how to sing better, this vocal brain training exercise could be for you and your choir! Based on the Edwardian song "Knees Up Mother Brown" (or Jelly On A Plate !) add to your practice for some brain training and to improve your voice and diction (Recorded in Bb major. )
For working on scale degree use alongside the 1 121 vocal warm up which you can find here: • Unlock Your Voice! Vocal Warm Up Exer... based on the c major scale.
12345 warm up starts at 140 bpm, followed by a slightly faster version at 150 bpm. You can always switch it up by using vowel sounds (AEIOU) so, a e i o u vocal warm up, instead of numbers, but that's a bit too much for me 😂. Use this with your other vocal warm ups, singing exercises and choir warm ups.
