Our first interview in with Jessica who's hanging out with her boyfriend, the tattoo artist. Jessica did share with us that she has to come to conventions to get free ink, come on dude. Now Jessica shares a matching piece of arm ink with her best friend and she convinced the boyfriend that she needed something more extravagant on her leg so he's taking care of that request at this Expo. Rodney - shout out to you on a great chest piece - check him out in Oklahoma folks. Now both of Jessica's parents are from Pittsburgh and so she's got a P on her arm, the baseball P actually - this put Baseball Guy in heaven. We gotta say we love the momma bear ink on her arm - pretty damn cool, especially the girl power Rosie. Don't worry Carter - your memorial tattoo on mom is coming and Amber - great arm ink.
Our next interview was a great story we grabbed on the way out on our last day. Her name is Taylor and she's a USC student who decided to come on down and get some ink. Dewey asked Taylor to come on down to get some ink and she could not refuse because it's great fine line work. Taylor gave us an age old search tip - check out artists - lots of them - on instagram until you see the one you want. Taylor said she loves the way Dewey expands on her ideas and makes them awesome. Taylor let us know her ink has boosted her confidence and sense of self. Taylor closed it out with the background on her first tattoo - one of those Friday the 13th specials. The good news is she still likes it. Bottom line - Taylor loves wearing her art.
