Rockstar Insider Confirms Red Dead Redemption Remake & Next-Gen Version of Red Dead Redemption 2 are in development at Rockstar Games, enhanced for modern hardware. Both Red Dead Redemption Remake and Red Dead Redemption 2 would be launching on PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC. Take-Two Interactive's earnings call further confirms this rumor and much more.

Also includes access to the shared living world of Red Dead Online. Red Dead Redemption is a 2010 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar San Diego and published by Rockstar Games. The game desperately needs a remaster or remake to introduce new players to the sequel to 2018's Red Dead Redemption 2. A remaster of this legendary sequel has long been rumored to be coming in the coming years. The first Red Dead Redemption is a spiritual successor to 2004's Red Dead Revolver, it is the second game in the Red Dead series. Red Dead Redemption is set during the decline of the American frontier in the year 1911 and follows John Marston, a former outlaw whose wife and son are taken hostage by the government in ransom for his services as a hired gun. Having no other choice, Marston sets out to bring three members of his former gang to justice.
