Is the Darkest Tales good?
The Darkest Tales is the newest Metroidvania game released in 2022, with artwork and gameplay mechanics inspired heavily by Ori.
This game has seriously cool art direction and music, and the demo – Into the Darkness – is available on Steam and worth checking out at least for that reason.
The gameplay mechanics require a bit more explanation, which we (Void Doge and I) cover for you in the review.
