"I ask: are my legs there or not? Because I can feel them. I can see what he doesn't want to say. I start to calm him down: "Friend, I am a medic myself, I understand that the legs could not be saved there. And he says: 'No,'" Dmytro Krasnovsky recalls his first words after being wounded.
Dmytro had both legs amputated. However, this did not prevent him from fulfilling his dream – to participate in the marathon. Together with his brother-in-arms Oleksandr Titenko, he covered 42.195 km in a wheelchair. How he managed it – see in the hromadske report.
