Shoe repair. How to put preventive measures
The video was shot based on an idea by Dima Kornev, about how to measure, cut and install the preventive measures on "model" shoes with thin soles.
There are 2 types of preventive measures on shoes:
Type 1 - molded (cast) in the form of ready-made soles, usually with a different tread pattern and thinning in the back
part.
Type 2 - sheet. Sheets of different sizes and thicknesses, from which the preventive measures are cut out according to the shoe size. I usually use type 2 - sheet, since it is cheaper, including for the customer :)
According to the manufacturer, molded preventive measures last longer, but only in ideal conditions. It often happens that only one side wears out and the entire preventive measure has to be changed.
