How to connect a smart plug to Alexa | Smart Home
In this video we will show you how to hook up a smart plug to Alexa.
1) Plug your smart plug into an outlet
2) Open the Alexa app on your smartphone
3) Go to Devices and select Plugs to see if the Smart Plug was detected automatically and already connected. If not,
4) Go back to the Devices page and select the + on the top right-hand corner of the screen
5) Follow the on-screen prompts
6) Alexa will announce that she has found a new plug. And that’s all there is to it.
7) You can rename the plug at any time, or keep its default name.
