The guest of this episode is Alexey Epischenko aka auto blogger AVVTATESTOR.
In two years of owning a 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE 43 AMG, he checked everything: engine reliability, maintenance costs, comfort on long trips, and even the reaction of passersby to the rare body color.
Why does he think this car is the best in his budget? Isn't it better to buy a new Chinese car? And what will you have to face if you still choose a used Mercedes?

Aleksey Epischenko, a car blogger, shares his experience of owning a Mercedes GLE 43 AMG (2016, W166 body), which he has owned for 2 years. This is the first truly expensive car in his life, and he calls it "a wolf in sheep's clothing" - outwardly calm, but as soon as you switch to sport mode, the power, sound and drive turn on.
He tells: how he looked for a car for 2 months to find a well-maintained and trouble-free example; why he chose a used German car, and not a new Chinese one for the same 4 million rubles; how he maintains the car and how much it costs; how the 43 AMG version differs from the usual GLE (sound, body kit, suspension, driving experience); why this car gives emotions and a sense of reward for efforts; and how difficult it is then to find something better or at least as "lively".
Alexey also touches on an important topic: a car is an emotion, not just a means of transportation. He shares his philosophy of approaching the choice and ownership of a car, his experience in blogging, and encourages not to be afraid to try something new — be it a car, content, or a life's work.
