Projection mapping tutorial - Creating a virtual window with free software (VPT8)
This video shows how to use the free VPT8 software to create a virtual window in a room. This is part of an upcoming series I'm working on which will eventually cross over with the dynatap project to show how to dynamically change a room. I am not done with the full project, however I realized that if I made a video at this point, I could teach others how to do projection mapping, what it is about, and how easy it can be with the right software. Please note that this is a simple demo, but projection mapping can be (and often is) a much much more complicated and involved solution.
VPT8 is free and works on both Mac and Windows computers.
