Does The DF Robot Motor Shield Work With DCC++
In this video, I answer the pressing question; Does The DF Robot Motor Shield Work With DCC++! I've heard so many modelers claim they used the DF Robot Motor Shield for DCC++ in Users Groups, I had to test it for myself.
So far there are only the Arduino, Pololu, and the Deek-Robot motor shields that are confirmed able to run DCC++. I will be testing the Gravity 2X2A motor shield by DF Robot. This shield uses pins 10, 11,12, and 13 for the control and speed of the motors while Arduino uses pins 3,11,12, and 13 for the same functions.
I ran my tests with an Uno & Mega 2560 both made by Elegoo which I have had excellent results with the Arduino motor shield. I ran several tests on the Program Track and the Main Track and will reveal the results here.
