The Behringer Flow 8 is an incredible little mixer, but one weakness many users notice is the very limited Bluetooth range.
After seeing a few examples of an external antenna mod shared online, I decided to try it myself. In this video I show a post-install teardown of my Flow 8 and walk through how the antenna mod was installed so others can see what’s involved.
This isn’t a step-by-step install video, but it should give you a clear idea of the process, the internal layout of the mixer, and how the mod is implemented.
Hopefully this helps anyone looking to improve the Bluetooth range on their Behringer Flow 8.
⚠️ Fair warning: there are many, many screws in this little mixer.
Tools I used:
Magnetised tray
Large Philips Screwdriver
Small Philips Screwdriver
Sockets size 6, 8 & 12
Drill with 6mm steel bit
round file
insulation tape
