How to export and store IFC Files from Autodesk Forma to Autodesk Docs
Autodesk expands its commitment to OpenBIM and its standards, with the introduction of IFC export in Forma. This complements existing integrations by giving users more flexibility to move proposals into downstream tools and workflows.
With support for IFC file export, Autodesk Forma users can now take proposals, complete with contextual data and native Forma elements, and export them as IFC 4.3 files. These files can be stored in Autodesk Docs and used in other BIM tools that support IFC 4.3 files for further design and development.
Autodesk Forma is available standalone and as part of the AEC Collection.
