Hardcore just collided with hip hop intensity and the result is absolutely devastating. Today I’m reacting to Knocked Loose – “Hive Mind” featuring Denzel Curry, and honestly this might be one of the most explosive cross-genre collaborations we’ve heard in years.
Knocked Loose have built their reputation on crushing breakdowns, punishing energy and some of the most violent live performances in modern heavy music, while Denzel Curry brings a level of lyrical aggression and flow precision that fits shockingly well inside this sonic assault. “Hive Mind” proves that hardcore and rap can coexist in a way that feels natural, dangerous and genuinely fresh rather than forced.
From the opening moments the track wastes no time setting the tone, with Bryan Garris delivering that signature unhinged vocal attack while the instrumentation hits like a freight train. Then Denzel Curry steps in and completely elevates the track, delivering a rapid-fire verse packed with attitude, rhythm and intensity that perfectly complements the brutality of the band.
