Blockchain is seen as an answer to a lot of the problems we face today!
Certain aspects of blockchain are still very controversial. These differences are good to create a healthy platform that serves everyone. After all, the technology is still in its infancy.
For comparison:
The first version of Internet was launched in 1960s and it really took off only in the late 90s with the World Wide Web.
The modern AI as a field, although formally found around 1956, it went through at least 2 periods of “AI Winter” (1974–80 and 1987 to 93) before wider adoption started in the late 2000s.
Advancements in micro chip design made it possible to create cheaper and faster computers. This was pivotal to the wider adoption of both Internet and AI.
Now we live in age of innovation. We are more productive than ever and innovate across multiple domains simultaneously!
Although it’s a relatively young technology, new products using blockchain are coming out at a rapid pace. So, it’s important that people from all backgrounds, and not just engineers and scientists, understand how they work so that everyone can contribute to the direction we are headed.
One of the ideals of blockchain is to build the next version of the Internet. An internet where everything runs on decentralized systems. Information and services flow through pre-defined rules that apply to everyone uniformly, and without discrimination!
Hi, my name’s Praveen and welcome to The Plain Crypto. In this channel, I will cover blockchain technologies: how they work, its applications and their pros and cons.
The purpose of this channel is not to give you Crypto coin picks or council but rather to provide a comprehensive overview of the technology, applications and their use cases. By understanding how these apps and tokens work, you will have better idea of which products align closer to your ideals and values. This gives you a significant edge in identifying products that will be beneficial to you (financially or otherwise) and not fall for the latest hype that might actually benefit someone else; at your expense.
