🍎 How to FORCE Remove Launchpad Icons for Deleted Apps 🍎
READ ME: You should leave the sound on! Also there are 2 important notes below.
Macs have more than 1 App folder. One in \Applications and one under \users\username\Applications. Launchpad reflects \users\username\Applications so sometimes a link is placed there for items installed in \Applications. The link is not deleted sometimes when you uninstall a program (especially with Steam). I delete that link in this video.
On some Macs the \Users\Shared\Applications folder is used. If you do not see the folder in the video check that one. You can also use the video linked below.

So I've been back on the Mac quite a bit the last couple of weeks and despite the rather large overhaul Catalina is for OSX it STILL has that annoying problem where launchpad will list apps that are long removed from the system. Worse yet it does not give you the ability to manually remove them. Annoying. Here is the fix: No extra software required.
