Can you connect to 3D Experience CATIA within CATIA V5?
The integration is called “CATIA V5-3DEXPERIENCE Connector” (sometimes referred to as V5-6R VPM or 3DEXPERIENCE Connector).
To use it, your company (or you) must have 3DEXPERIENCE entitlements on top of your CATIA V5 license. Simply having V5 installed does not grant you 3DX access.
Once licensed, you log in through the 3DEXPERIENCE login panel inside CATIA V5, and you can manage/save/open data stored on the 3DX platform.
In short:
You can’t just log in to 3DEXPERIENCE from CATIA V5 without the proper 3DX licenses. The menu is there by default in V5R2022+, but it requires additional licensing to function.
