Diversity is about all of us, and about us having to figure out how to walk through this world together” (Jacqueline Woodson). Diversity and inclusion have become buzz words to signify a cultural movement with the aim of creating an equal society. But what does that mean and how does this impact our lives? The aim of this session is to demystify these terms and discuss causes and effects, and I’ll share some first steps everyone can take to combat social injustices.
