Tarkov using flares (mainly to extract)
Flares in Tarkov have different purposes based on color. Green for extracting, red for calling air drops. To use a flare to extract you have to go to a flare extraction area. Walk forward until you see flare area appear at the bottom right and fire off the flare, either by using a flare gun as your pistol or hot keying a flare and then using the hot key to launch.
