CONSOLIDATE YOUR MIDI INTO AUDIO!!!!! CTRL+ALT+C!!! Making a beat in FL Studio 20
When our computer is playing back MIDI in Realtime, from a vst that's using an in house or third party effect, all from our DAW, it's like running a marathon without drinking any water or eating the night before and the day of (a little dramatic but I digress). One big thing I've learned is to consolidate your MIDI clips into audio clips. It'll save your CPU load and if your computer could talk it would thank you.
If there's anything to take from this video, it's to take care of your computer, and turn those MIDI clips into audio clips. When you consolidate your MIDI into audio, your essentially giving your computer the break it truly needs.
