Video description:
Not every shoulder exercise is suitable if you want to maintain a healthy rotator cuff in the long term. Unfortunately, there are now many myths about how to perform the various exercises to train the lateral part of the shoulder. The best example: When doing lateral raises, pour out a glass of water at the end of the movement by twisting your little finger upward.

This often results in shoulder pain because this "correct" execution can cause the humerus to be forced into a position due to the internal rotation of the shoulder, which can lead to impingement syndrome. The supraspinatus tendon is often affected.

Since anatomy varies from person to person, today we'll look at what scientific advice can give us.
