Hey! In this video, I showcase floor-to-floor transitions in my game. Used NavMeshAgent, UniTask, and UIToolkit.
Logic: on door interaction, the destination room loads, door opens. If "enter" is chosen in dialogue, the player character walks through, screen fades out. In the destination room, the door opens, the character is teleported and walks out. The starting room unloads, fade-out clears, door closes.
Soon, I’ll work on room-to-room transitions, aiming for a "seamless" approach without full-screen fade. Got some ideas to test!
