The Factor 7 Retreat was created in 2012 by CHES (Comprehensive Health Education Services) for individuals with FVIId (factor 7 deficiency, a blood clotting disorder associated with the 7th clotting factor in the cascade) and their immediate family members.
The Factor 7 Retreat is a multi-day, education and advocacy program that helps those living with and/or managing FVIId by providing a variety of medically credentialed sessions and workshops from treatment options to pain management to psychosocial support and even a self-infusion class.
This program is free of charge with the support of education grants from pharma companies like Novo Nordisk.
