A symbol table is like a database used during compilation.
It keeps track of everything your program defines —
✅ Variables
✅ Functions
✅ Constants
✅ And even classes!

It stores key info like:
• The type of each identifier
• Its scope – where it’s valid
• And its memory location.

Whenever the compiler sees an identifier, it checks the symbol table to know what it is and how to use it.

Without a symbol table, the compiler would be completely lost.
