Autodesk Fusion 360 How to create embossed engraved letters Part 3
In this video I will show you my third method how to emboss/engrave letters around a cylindrical surface (this method also works with letters with islands A, B, R, O, etc.).
As more letters you want to write, as more polygon faces you need to create. Here I'm using 16 sides polygon. Advantages of this method
*Easy to switch between Emboss/Engrave
*Method can be applied almost on all cylindrical surfaces
*Engraved letters does not have undercuts (very good thing for molding)
Major Disadvantages of this method
*To change text and it's position you need to undo surface split command and create a new text in sketch.
*embossed letters has undercuts (not good thing for molding)
