2025 was chaotic, unexpected, and honestly life-changing. From the growth to the lessons, this year showed me what’s possible when I stay consistent.

In this video, I talk about my plans for 2026, the content I’m locking in on, and the goals I’m chasing from improving my video quality to pushing myself creatively. This year is about discipline, consistency, and trusting my own vision.

If you’re early, just know I appreciate you more than you think.
2026 is the year we lock in.

The New Frontier (1961-1963) JFK Domestic Policy

Pres. Kennedy told Americans that sacrifice will be necessary to reach a “new frontier”of possibilities.
Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country
JFK announced that America would put a man on the moon by the end of the decade (1969).
Signs the Equal Pay Act of 1963. Equal Pay for Equal Work.
Established the Peace Corps; to promote world peace & friendship.
JFK proposed the most significant civil rights legislation to date . Civil Rights Act of 1964

Equal Pay Act of 1963 (Kennedy)
Women were paid less than men for the doing the same job.
The Equal Pay Act attempted to address this issue by prohibiting gender-based wage discrimination in the U.S.
Significant 1st Step in Gender Equality
(1963) Signed by JFK, the Equal Pay Act required companies to pay women the same wages as men for the same work.
It never really worked, the Equal Pay Act was weakened by negative court rulings

Gender Pay Gap (Men v Women)
(2020) Women make 77 cents for every dollar made by a man. What does that mean?
This statistic doesn’t compare men & women doing identical work
If you average out what ALL WOMEN working full time earn with what ALL MEN working full time earn, WOMEN take home 77% of what men do.
This GENDER PAY GAP is be caused by a number of factors like:
Societal gender expectations (aka-More Moms than Dads stay home to raise kids.)
Occupational differences (aka-45% of working women are employed in just 20 occupations)

PEACE CORP
Kennedy established the Peace Corps (a gov’t agency) in 1961.
He asked young people to sacrifice their time & talents to serve the “greater good”
Thousands of young Americans answered this call to duty by volunteering to help people in developing countries.
If we help them, maybe the developing countries reject COMMUNISM

The Johnson Years
LYNDON B. JOHNSON became President in 1963. Johnson began his term by passing Kennedy’s Civil Rights Bill as a tribute to the fallen president. Johnson called for a War on Poverty.
He proposed his “GREAT SOCIETY” domestic policies; the most ambitious social reforms since the New Deal. His programs were designed to eliminate poverty & racial injustice, improve education.
Medicare and Medicaid gave health insurance to seniors, the poor, children, pregnant women, and the disabled. These were the most enduring of all the “Great Society” programs. Many Great Society programs were latter gutted to pay for the Vietnam War.

LBJ’s Great Society (aka-Domestic Policies)

The Great Society was a set of social reforms (aka-domestic policies) designed to eliminate poverty & racial injustice, improve education.
His intent was to promote equality by ending racial discrimination & poverty in the US.
LBJ pushed Congress to pass legislation help the 99% (aka-civil rights, bad schools, poverty)
The Great Society domestic policies were considered the most ambitious program of social reform since the New Deal.
Most Great Society Programs ended up losing funding due to the Vietnam War.

Johnson’s War on Poverty
In 1964, LBJ declared a “War on Poverty”; creating a series of social programs to help the poor & elderly. (e.g. Medicare, Medicaid)
(1964) National poverty rate drops from 19 to 10% in under 10 years.
National poverty rate has not gone above 15% since.
Did Great Society programs END poverty? NO. Lowered significantly.
LBJ passed the CRA of 1964; ending segregation & banning workplace discrimination.
Fed. Gov. gave local school districts 1B in federal aid to public schools; established Head Start & PBS (SS)
Head Start was/is a program designed to help underprivileged kids (3-5) prepare for ES. VPK

Elementary & Secondary Education Act ( ESEA)

(1965) ESEA was a Great Society program that provided federal funding for public school education.
The Fed Gov’t provided local school districts (especially in the inner cities) with 1B in federal aid.
ESEA aimed to provide additional school resources to kids of low-income families, second language learners & students w/ special needs.
