How to Replace a Layer In After Effects Composition
You have a layer in the After Effects composition but want to replace it without having to animate it all over again? No fear!
1. Select your file in the Project Panel
2. Now select the layer you want to replace in the composition timeline.
3. Hold down the Alt or Option key while dragging the file from the project panel to the composition.
4. Boom town. Done and done.
