How NOT to use Splice loops.
Something that’s been on my mind for a while is the stigma associated with using splice / music library loops to create a song / tune out of. Just downloading a bunch of loops and pasting them unedited into a song and sticking it out on spotify is not composition, it’s how kids should initially be taught to make music in school. I explore what you should do with loops in order to credibly make them part of a genuine composition. There’s a lot more on this topic, this is the starting point.
