Bass Drum Speed (my favorite exercise)
I recently was asked, "If you could only practice one bass drum exercise for the rest of your life, what would it be?" Well, I gave it some serious thought and now you and I are going to work on it together!
Developing your single bass drum speed can be quite a chore, and that's why I love this exercise so much. I can turn it into an independence exercise, or turn into a creative exercise and solo over it. As with any new exercise, take your time and most importantly... fall in love with the process!
