In this video I will show you how to take apart a Tanaka “Bike Bug” / “TAS Spitz” / “Free Spirit” friction drive bicycle motor.
The main objective is removing the shift lever and frame mounting arms to reach the main engine and gear case. I am taking mine apart to reach the fuel pump for a repair.
