The old Rose Gold passive dragon scale: allows the user to have hybrid defense only when you have Lifesteal, so 1% Lifesteal equals 1 hybrid defense.
50% lifesteal equals 50 hybrid defense.
Now this only benefits certain heroes with lifesteal like alucard or ruby.
While it gives little benefits to fighters without lifesteal.
Which makes it a situational item, making rose gold useless after its passive lifeline has been triggered.
Now here's the best part of the new Rose Gold.
Instead of lifesteal dependent for hybrid defense, it depends on physical attack, every 4 physical attack increases hybrid defense by 1.
Which means if we have 1 blade of despair we can easily have 50 hybrid defense.
Even without Blade of despair we need only 2 attack items to reach 50 hybrid defense.
