This video takes a look at Tribes: Ascend, the free to play FPS shooter game exclusively for the PC by Hi-Rez Studios. Tribes: Ascend launched in April, 2012, and carries on the legacy of the previous Tribes games: Starsiege: Tribes, Tribes 2, and Tribes Vengeance.
Tribes is unique because it is based around large scale battles in very open environments, extreme speed / mobility through skiing and jetpacks, and a variety of class types each which fill their own role on the battlefield.
Tribes is easy to pick up and play, but also difficult to master. This provides an experience that keeps people coming back for more, whether in 32 player capture the flag or capture and hold battles, or in tight 5vs5 arena matches.
