In this video I show a timelapse of how I played the 2021 Archaeology Event minigame (on beta)! It's by no means perfect, but it shows how I play the game and how I try to optimize the efficiency of my tools. I don't tend to overly analyze situations, I go by intuition based on some basic principles, so sometimes I make decisions that aren't optimal, but good enough! I'm currently working on a full guide for this event where I'll talk some more about this among other things, so keep an eye out for when that's out :)
Also, for those wondering why I switch between mobile and browser and why I chose the daily specials I did ... I had my reasons, they will become clear in a couple of weeks :)
