What Can $1 Do? - Saving vs. Investing [Enough is Enough]
Part of "Enough is Enough" is understanding INVESTMENT THEORY - understanding how to make your money work for you.
Today, we launch the first in our Investment Theory section with an illustration of the following ideas:
What can happen to $1.00 USD over 30 years if you hold it, save it, or invest it?
What could happen if you put away $1/day for 30 years?
What if you upped that to $5/day?
These illustrations are based on actual inflation rates and stock market returns over the past 30 years, and today's best savings account interest rate as reported by bankrate.com. There is risk involved in investing, and you should do your own research before making financial decisions.
