Tim McCall aka Jirah is a Seattle-based psytrance producer. He began as a trance/breaks dj in 1997 and quickly moved into music production after being introduced to software such as ACID and Rebirth. He worked hard to create his own unique sound of psytrance, being influenced by artists such as Cosmosis, Hallucinogen and Deedrah. In 2003 he released his first album, Outer Access on USTA Records and soon after began to gain global popularity. Since then he has performed around the world, sharing the stage with artists such as Sonic Species, S-Range, Ticon, Yahel, Tim Healy, Zoo-b, Khromata and Daksinamurti. He has released music on several albums and many compilations and worked with labels such as Dragonfly, Phantasm, Perfecto Flouro, Aleph Zero, U.S.T.A., Organic, Geomagnetic, Borderline and BABA. Aside from music production, Tim has also been a sound designer for Zenhiser Samples since 2009, producing many psytrance preset and sample packs.
