Solo Girl in the Forest | Building My Own Bushcraft Shelter
After hiking deep into the forest, I found the perfect spot to build my very first bushcraft survival shelter, all alone. With only hand tools and natural materials, I spent the day creating a quiet place to call home for the night. The sounds of the forest, the rhythm of working with nature, and the solitude of being out here… this is what I live for.
It wasn’t exactly the peaceful solo shelter build I imagined, but it was real.
Things didn’t go perfectly. It was messy, slow, and a little chaotic at times. But that’s part of the beauty of learning and figuring it out on your own. No talking, just raw moments in the wild: trial and error, stillness, and the deep satisfaction of building something by hand.
