Hello! Today we'll visit one of the strangest and most unusual Russian cities – Yoshkar-Ola, the capital of the Mari El Republic. In my opinion, it's not particularly well-known among travelers, and that's a shame. The fact is, over the past 15 years, this ordinary Russian provincial town has transformed into a veritable architectural Disneyland, a fusion of all sorts of styles and eras. Now, in the capital of the Mari El Republic, you can stroll along European embankments, admire palaces and castles, and marvel at replicas of world landmarks. Is it strange? Absolutely! But very interesting!
