Sonny & Cher ~ 500 Miles (1965)
Once again we have a song here that has been covered many times by many people, but i would say this version by "Sonny & Cher" which was released in 1965 would be my favourite, and it was on their album "Look at Us".. Also This version was played over the credits of the 1966 BBC TV film "Cathy Come Home".. All the footage here was filmed in the UK... Another version of this song that i like very much was the one by "The Journeymen" but that version would be more suited to my folk channel...
