Flutter Full Environment Setup | Emulator, VS Code & Flint Dart CLI
In this video, I walk you through the complete process of setting up a Flutter development environment from scratch.
We start by manually installing Flutter, then move on to setting up the Android development tools, including downloading the required SDK build tools and accepting Android licenses. I also show how to install Visual Studio for Windows desktop development.
Next, we create a Pixel 5 Android emulator for testing apps, and set up Visual Studio Code with all the necessary extensions for Flutter and Dart development.
Finally, we globally activate Flint Dart and add it to the system PATH so it can be used directly from the command line.
