Stop bringing your theology TO the text!
We all have presuppositions when we read the Bible. We all have settled arguments in our own minds that may not line up with Scripture.
The question is then, when confronted with the reality of God’s word, do we welcome the fight between God’s truth and these already well established worldly monuments in our hearts and minds? Do we allow the Bible to dismantle these monuments or do we allow the monuments to dismantle the Bible?
