Couplings are essential components in various mechanical systems, serving the critical function of connecting two shafts while accommodating varying degrees of misalignment and transmitting torque. Choosing the right coupling type is crucial for ensuring efficient power transmission, minimizing wear and tear, and preventing costly downtime.

As a Mechanical Designer / Maintenance Engineer, you have to be familiar with all Coupling Types to be able to choose the appropriate one for your Rotating system, So, I will preview this video on Solidworks demonstrating the different types of couplings, components, Assembly, and their concept.



The coupling Types with respect to the video sequence are as follows:
