‘Back on Track’ is a phrase which may be overused in a post Covid environment, as the UK Rail Industry gets the chance to consider the Williams-Shapps Plan for Great British Railways. Whilst improving performance and increasing passenger expectations are clearly a focus in the plan, we get the opportunity to hear how Mark Phillips, the CEO at RSSB, responds to the Williams Shapps White Paper. Ali Chegini, RSSB Director of System Safety & Health, will give us a perspective of Health, Safety & Sustainability in Great British Railways and the 30 Year Plan. We ask if the recommendations can be delivered without detriment to safety. A great test for the ‘Management of Change‘ is on the horizon.
