1-Wire data exchange protocol (Microlan)
This lecture examines the 1-Wire or Microlan data exchange protocol and its software implementation. The audience is introduced to the structure and characteristics of this protocol, and its differences and features compared to previously discussed protocols are discussed. Examples of this protocol's application are given, as well as a specific software example of communicating with a temperature/humidity sensor using the 1-Wire protocol, based on an AVR microcontroller.
