In this video, I walk through how to use **MekaBox**, a tool I built to export and back up Rekordbox playlists using the Rekordbox XML format.
MekaBox lets you select playlists from your Rekordbox XML, package the tracks, and preserve all important metadata like hot cues, memory cues, beat grids, BPM, and key — making it easy to back up or prepare playlists for sharing.
This video covers:
• Exporting playlists from a Rekordbox XML file
• Selecting playlists inside MekaBox
• Exporting audio files + metadata into a clean package
• Understanding the export workflow and options
Importing playlists on another computer will be covered in a future video.

If you’re a DJ who spends time preparing playlists and cue points in Rekordbox, this tool is built to protect that work and make it portable.
