In this video Dan discusses a couple of ways in which to start tonguing on the saxophone. How to make the saxophone speak nicely while tonguing and which sound to use while playing. We also cover how to practice tonguing on the saxophone during the early stages of your playing development. This video also covers how to effectively use a metronome to improve your sense of rhythm and tonguing.
The end portion of the video contains some Live Saxophone Training in which you play a long with some rhythms that Dan makes up. Try and copy Dan's rhythm to improve your reactive tonguing, sense of rhythm and musical awareness.
