Basics of GIMP - Using Offset with Layers
In under 8-minutes, we show you how to offset image layers in either the X-direction (left/right) and/or in the Y-direction (top/bottom). We discuss the origin point and how positive and negative values are related to the direction of movement. We demonstrate the wrap-around option and the fill with backdrop color options. Using the basic techniques in this training, you can easily create original seamless texturing images.
