Doom Wild West Mod [Western Mod]
Doom Wild West Mod, or Western Mod, is a Doom WAD created by LiverMore that brings enemies, weapons and items from the Old West to the classic id Software's first person shooter. The mod also features two hero classes and changes the game's mechanics sensibly, with some new rules that modify the gameplay. For instance, when the protagonist sustains a certain ammount of damage, he loses movement speed. Also, the cowboys that were added by the PWAD are quick on the draw and are true aimers. These elements make the game substantially harder.
The mod worked here on GZDoom (1.8.2, 2.4 and 3.1) and on Zandronum (2.0 and 3.0), with the IWADs from Doom II: Hell on Earth, The Ultimate Doom, Final Doom and Freedoom.
