There are two ways of treatment. The problem can be because of intestine narrowing. Once the intestine gets narrowed the food goes there and get stuck there, food doesn’t come down and causing chronic constant pain. The ways to treat is one is dietary modification. We should use less fats, foods like mutton and chicken have to be used less, easily palatable foods like rice has to be taken more. Second thing is we can use some mild anti-spasmodic drugs to reduce the pain. But most of the time these will have some problems like narrowing. That part of the intestine needs to be resected to get constant relief from the pain. That is why we have to see whether it is a complete obstruction or incomplete obstruction or a minor obstruction. Minor obstruction diet and some medications will help.
