Irish Dance Masterclass with Jason O'Neill
Armagh welcomes Irish Dance Sensation Jason O’Neill as he leads a high-energy dance masterclass from the The Market Place Theatre & Arts Centre, Armagh to celebrate ‘At Home with St. Patrick Festival 2021'.
Inspired by contemporary dance styles, Jason has created his own unique dance routines, which also feature his captivating Irish dance steps.
Choreographed to contemporary music, his new style has captured the imagination of dancers across the globe through his recent online videos that have been watched by more than 80,000 viewers. As lead dancer with Riverdance for the past 10 years, Jason has toured to over 200 cities across the world and danced on some of the most famous world stages.
He now brings all of his experience and talent to the Market Place auditorium to share his creative and athletic dance styles with local and national audiences. Two local female dancers will join Jason on stage during the Masterclass. Twelve-year-old world champion Blaithin Mohan from Armagh City and Ciara McGivern from Markethill who placed 9th in the world. Together they will showcase a range of intricate steps for dancers to follow on with at home alongside some traditional dances for everyone to enjoy.
