VMware vSphere ESXi Image builder allows also to build custom images, so you can add an additional drivers into it. But to master this technology, it's not a easy task. If you want to have vSphere Autodeploy running in your lab, then one of the options is to configure Image builder and Host profiles, because those technologies were designed to work together with the vSphere suite.
